Friends of the Veranda - July 20, 2010
Signe Miranda's Veranda is making a full-band album, split into 2 six-song EPs - September Night is the first one! It's scheduled for release in late September, followed by a Canadian tour. The second EP is tentatively called April Morning, to be released in the spring.
We need your help to finish the album - and you'll get rewarded for your contribution!
We've already spent about $2,380 on the project and need another $13,750 to finish the project and release the two EPs ($7500 recording, mixing, mastering, $3000 CDs, download cards, artwork, $2000 promo, $1250 misc.-unexpected expenses.)
We've recorded most of the drum & bass parts, some vocals and guitar and still need to record everything else. You can hear a demo version of the title track - September Night - on this website.
There are several contribution levels; any amount helps.
All Advanced Album Packages include :
(1)access to an exclusive member website, with pictures & videos from the recording sessions, progress updates and a guestbook,
(2) a digital download of the September Night demo song,
(3) a digital download card/code for both EPs,
(4) free entry into the September CD release party (or another show if the show sells out before you arrive) and
(5) free shipping & handling of your member package.
